A typical reason why music files get locked and/or swapped in length is some popular 3rd party music indexing and playback software like Roxio, Nero, Windows Media Player or something like that…

These indexatosMedia browsers (such as WMP player, Roxio, etc.) extract additional information from the Internet and easily add it to the original MP3 document (such as artist or album tags). For example, Windows Media provides the default behavior of the game player for this. Roxio (e.g. Roxio Media Watcher) has led to this being mentioned as a reason in several forum cycles.

    1. (optional step) Back up the relevant personal data files. Note that if multiple files in a torrent are having this issue, you may need to back up those files as well if you don’t know what the problem is. So if in doubt, you can save the entire torrent.

These should be turned off unless you absolutely need them, as they interfere with Vuze processing uploaded files.

I think Vuze’s settings were recently reset, even though it’s set to “Append data to files related to downloads and reorder them as part of the specified download process”. I really tried to understand why.

Hence the first issue you raised in the other post…

My only guess would be that there might be some sort of bug in file validation common sense not noticing when their reordering of the “add data…then reorder parts” part leaves the parts stuck in long-term files.

As you probably guessed, this is the main unit of measure that is organized and traded between colleagues. Torrent data is a “song”. While the new size of each fragment varies from torrent to torrent, each coordinate fragment (except the last one) for a legal torrent is undoubtedly the same size, except for sometimes pure coincidence. So one part starts at the end of the nudge, ends and points to the other from the beginning.

So if you download some files from a big torrent, Vuze will create some files for some of you

: These presentations have a common part created from files marked for recovery. So Vuze needs to get that integer part in order to get the part that contains the file data it needs. It must save the rest of the coin in order to meet the revalidation goals and download the data to re-query peers. Sometimes when a torrent contains exactly small files, Vuze will download an amazing

Even if you specified “Don’t Upload” – this file is often smaller than the size of the entry and was included in the single block required for all allowed files.
